Many thanks to our new friends at Graco Baby, who hosted a fantastic afternoon get-together at the Four Seasons in Palo Alto, CA for the Silicon Valley Moms Blog. The festivities included good friends, wine, sushi and hand massages. (Sigh!)
Of course, this group of mommybloggers also got a sneak-peek at the new Sweet Peace newborn soothing center. My little one just turned three, but I can certainly remember the value of a good swing-type device when you have a crabby newborn and tired mommy in the same house. We had a big clunky swing (that my husband and I valued at about $10,000), and the new Graco soothing center is much more compact.
Of course, not to out-shine the super-nice people from Graco, I have to brag about my major celebrity sighting at the Four Seasons. As I was waiting for the valet to return my car, I spotted Michelle Pfeiffer and David E. Kelley driving into the lot! WOW! (For what it's worth, I called Beth B. to give the remaining SVMB ladies and Graco peeps a head's up; I hope you got the message!)
Glad to hear you had a great time! Thanks so much for coming. I'm just bummed we missed the sighting! We were right out there but no such luck...

Michelle Pfeiffer, cool! All I saw were some Asian businessmen with Whole Foods grocery bags. That's ok though since the party was fun!
